Goals and Objectives of Lesson 3

GOALS

In this lesson, we would like to accomplish the following:

1. We hope you will develop a desire to make the proper modern application of the story of Abraham.

2. We hope you will make use of all the resources and activities of the lesson to learn the proper way to make modern application of the story of Abraham, especially with regard to Jesus and the Church.

3. We hope your faith in Christ is strengthened as a response to the teachings of this lesson.

OBJECTIVES

When you have done the following, it will show that the goals are met:

1. Use all the resources and complete all the written assignments of the lesson, expressing your own thoughts and attitudes about making a modern application of Genesis 11:10-25:18.

2. Obtain a satisfactory grade on the test, demonstrating that you can identify the meaning of the "seed" of Abraham and how the themes from the life of Abraham are fulfilled in Christ and in the Church.

3. Answer the application questions in the study guides, in which you express how you have applied the teachings of this lesson and of the whole course to your life.
