Church

The people of God, His congregation, His kingdom on earth

Holy

Morally pure, free from sin and corruption, set apart for use in special service to God

Visible Church

Everyone who is regularly part of the gathered church, those who publicly profess faith in Christ

Invisible Church

Those who have been united to Christ in salvation

Koinonia

Greek word (transliteration) for "communion." It refers to the fellowship and sharing that exists between members of the church

Hagios

Greek word (transliteration) for "holy"

Kadosh

Hebrew word (transliteration) for "holy"

Ekklesia

Greek word (transliteration) for "church." Literally it means assembly or gathered people.
